TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These conditions apply to all advertising
in this publication unless we have agreed
other terms in writing with the advertiser
1. In accepting an advertisement for
publication and in publishing it we are
doing so in consideration of and in reliance
on your express warranty, the truth of
which is essential:
a. That the advertisement does not contain
anything that: (i) is misleading deceptive
or likely to mislead or deceive or which
otherwise breaches the Fair Trading
Act 1986; (ii) is defamatory, indecent
or which otherwise offends against
generally accepted community standards;
(iii) infringes copyright, a trademark or
otherwise infringes any intellectual or
industrial property rights; (iv) breaches any
provision of any statute, regulation, by-law
or other rule of law; and
b. That the advertisement complies in
every way with the Advertising Codes
of Practice issued by the Advertising
Standards Authority and with all other
standards relating to advertising in New

give rise to liability on our part, or in a claim

for publication you grant us a perpetual,

advertising media we offer advertisers now

4. Where the advertiser uses our creative
services in the design or production of an
advertisement (including photographic or
design work) you acknowledge we own
the copyright in such work and that such
work is not work for which a commissioning
payment has been agreed.
5. We may amend advertisements for style
or other genuine reasons using reasonable
care, refuse to publish without reason, and
may publish on the next available day if
there is an error or delay in publication of
the ad as booked.
6. We may take orders for specific spaces
(space orders). The space may only be
used by you for advertising your usual
business and may not be transferred by
you to another person.
7. The guarantees contained in the
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are
excluded where you acquire goods or
services from us for the purpose of a

if there is an error or omission in any
advertisment. We will not be liable for
any indirect or consequential loss, (which
includes loss of revenue or profit) from
any error, or omission or failure to publish.

up to 28 days after an adjustment. Space
order rates are not reduced if the space is
not used. To cancel an ad a cancellation
number must be obtained.
12. GST will be added to all advertising
except for non-NZ based clients. Payment
is due seven days after the invoice date
unless otherwise authorised. In the event
of late payment the advertiser will be liable
for market rate interest and all collection
13. All casual advertising must be prepaid
prior to publication. Payment by credit card
for casual advertising is accepted.
14. We may provide guidelines to be
followed where you include internet
addresses in advertising.

An award-winning waterfront
destination once known for its
tank farm and fish market will
be celebrating two years since
its makeover this weekend.
Wynyard Quarter was tran-
sformed into a mix of public
spaces and restaurants in
Developments include Silo
Park, the North Wharf bars and
eateries, Karanga Plaza, the
heritage trams, the Wynyard
Crossing Bridge and the new
Viaduct Events Centre.
To celebrate its second year
in operation Waterfront Auck-
land will be putting on free
activities for the whole family
Alongside the activities there
will be a chance to learn about
plans for the next commercial
and residential development
stages for the area.
Over the next 20 years a fur-
ther 15 hectares of Wynyard
Quarter will be transformed
into a harbour-side community
with parks, apartments, shops
and offices alongside the tra-
ditional marine and fishing
